Starting October 16th, 17th and 18th

Overview

In this age of the digital revolution traditional methods can get lost in the mix of shortcuts and immediate results. This is not a time to abandon traditional techniques or methods but to embrace the new technology and
incorporate this new opportunity while still using traditional hands-on printing techniques. I am sending out a call to all artists and printmakers to participate in an International Print Exchange. The goal is to share work and build a closer community of artists around the world through traditional printing and the digital image transfer. These will be original works created by the exchange not scans of exisitng work.

Artists will send their images to my shop and artists here in Chicago will send images to other participating print shops around the world. Webcams will be setup to document the printing and will be using live streaming video to network artists and printmakers in real time.
